    2004 Peter Paul Cabernet Sauvignon
In 2002, the Peter Paul Merlot fruit was harvested from the Jaegar Vineyard in the Oak Knoll district of Napa Valley, just south of the Stags Leap

The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon came predominantly from vineyards farmed by Andy Beckstoffer. They include vineyard parcels such as Beckstoffer Georges III and Melrose Vineyards, along with a small amount of fruit from the Sam Craig Vineyard—all located in St. Helena and Rutherford.

2004 was a good year with a late spring push, a hot spell in August and then hot days and cooler nights right through mid-harvest, which came in late September. Cool fermentation allowed for gentle extraction of flavors and tannins. The wine lots were allowed some settling before being racked to barrels, where they spent approximately 2 years prior to bottling.
