This hearty green tea requires 25,000 buds to make a pound. Each leaf is snipped by skilled fingers and pan fried, not rolled or processed. There are 6 grades of Dragonwell. This extra special grade is recognized by its flattened leaf, which yield slightly sweet and aromatic jade colored liquor. In China this tea is considered to have a cooling effect and is frequently served in hot weather.
